The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the store manager with all store needs such as covering shifts, and ensuring daily operations are being handle in a proper and professional manner also while demonstrating efficient work methods, educating people on products and dosing, intake and verification, operating a POS system, cashing out patrons and maintaining a compassionate and safe environment for people to access products.
The role is a complex one.
They will go through extensive training to ensure they are qualified to make accurate recommendations to each person they help.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older and must have Retail manager experience 2
years Must be reliable and have excellent attendance Must be on time, 100% attendance is required for the first 90 days Must manage time efficiently and effectively Must be flexible to cover shifts as needed Must stay current on laws and city ordinances Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures Abilities and skills required:
Work with others to create a positive environment Provide exceptional and professional service Positive attitude and teamwork Ability to effectively communicate and take direction Problem solving and problem analysis skills Ability to stay on task and prioritize Reliability, punctuality, initiative, adaptability, patience, and integrity Attention to detail with the ability to multitask while keeping accurate documentation Excellent cash handling skills Must administer the best level of care and service to our patrons Must organize workflow and have an understanding of duties or delegated tasks Advanced product knowledge POS operations including creating new orders, adjusting open orders, adding items, and discounts, voiding items, cashing out orders, and reprinting receipts Monitor inventory levels accurately, assess product needs, and communicate them to the General Manager Communicate effectively with management and fellow employees to best serve our patrons The ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
